Located in the town of Katsuta, Shiga Prefecture, Futo Gunshi-sha is a Shinto shrine dedicated to the four gods of the sea (futo gunshi). These deities are believed to have the power to ward off shipwrecks and protect sailors. The shrine's architecture reflects its nautical theme, with wooden pillars and a curved roof resembling waves.
