大山祇神社

Gunma

Located in the city of Katusa, Gunma Prefecture, Takasaki Taishan Daizokuten Jinja is a Shinto shrine dedicated to Taiyin and the god of war, and also enshrines the god of harvest, rice, and agriculture. The shrine was originally founded as a temple in 741 but later converted to a Shinto shrine during the Heian period (794-1185).
