松室神社

Shizuoka

Located in the city of Fujiyoshida, in the mountains east of Mt. Fuji, Matsusubashi Shrine is a Shinto shrine dedicated to the god of prosperity and good luck, Matsunaga okami. Built on the site where a local legend says Matsunaga no Mikoto took refuge from the snow, the shrine is famous for its unique architectural style and stunning natural surroundings. Visitors can enjoy the autumn foliage, cherry blossoms in spring, and Mt. Fuji views during other seasons.
