湯次神社

Shiga

located in the town of Koka, Shiga Prefecture, Tamayu-gu Shinshinsha is a historic Shinto shrine dedicated to the god of water and fertility, and is believed to be one of the oldest shrines in Japan. The shrine's main hall was built during the Kamakura period, with later renovations made during the Edo period. Visitors can enjoy the scenic views of Lake Biwa from the shrine grounds.
