Nara-period Todai-ji Shrine, located in the city of Nagahama, Shiga Prefecture, is a small Shinto shrine dedicated to the kami of the sea and fishing. The shrine was rebuilt in 1610 after a fire destroyed the original structure, and its current architecture is a mix of old and new, with traditional Japanese buildings standing alongside modern facilities. In addition to its historical significance, the shrine also offers beautiful views of Sagami Bay.
