The Yoshino Shrine, also known as Yoshino-jinja, is a Shinto shrine located in the city of Yoshino, Nara Prefecture, but was originally built at its current location in Kyoto's Inari District. The shrine is dedicated to the Amaterasu Ōmikami, who is revered for her role as the sun goddess. Over time, the shrine has also been associated with the kami of rice and fertility.
