文化的背景
Sanetsusenmori Inari Shrine is closely tied to the legend of Susanoo-no-Mikoto, who was said to have created the rice fields and irrigation systems that sustain agriculture. The shrine also hosts the annual Hikone Sanetsusenmori Festival in July, which features traditional dances and offerings to the kami.
歴史
The shrine was rebuilt in 1612 after a fire destroyed it in 1604, during the Edo period.
