文化的背景

As one of Japan's 'Five Grand Shrines' (Gozan no Shinsho), Wakamiya Shrine is revered for its exceptional beauty and historical significance. 歴史

The shrine was originally built in 645 CE by Empress Saimei to honor Hachiman, who was believed to have helped her defeat her enemies. Over time, it has undergone several renovations and expansions, including the current structure which was rebuilt in 1888 after a fire.
