Parking
Village-operated seresarigō Park parking is available from 8:00 to 17:00. Entry after 17:00 is not allowed. Starting from October 1, 2025, the parking fee will be increased.
概要
White川乡 is a world cultural heritage site registered in 1995 as a 'form of buildings, architectural complex, or technical accumulation of skills or landscape that bear witness to an important phase in human history.' The main cluster of gassho-style dwellings is located in the northern part of the village, near the Hagi-cho district. Around this area, traditional cultural experience facilities and a historical museum offer insights into the wisdom of living in harmony with nature. Please note that the village's public parking lot operates from 8:00 to 17:00, and no entry is allowed after 17:00. The parking fee will be increased from October 1, 2025.
